ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I had the 'heebe jeebes' last night for some reason.  I couldn't settle down, was nervous as a cat and it was way into the night before I could go to sleep and then woke up at 4 again.  Nothing is wrong as far as I know.  Church was really good last night.  The message was from 1John 4:7-11 on love.  God is love and if we know Him, we are to love as well.  He loved us and loved us even more by giving His only begotten Son who died for us.  The Pastor said, who here would give up your son?  Food for thought.

My son in law works in Dayton, Tennessee and they are known around this area for their strawberries. He brought home a flat which had 8 quarts and my daughter called and asked if we wanted any, so we are going up the mountain today to get several quarts.  Sure will make good ice cream!

After that, I hope to go and have the glass ornament blown for Aryn's 16th birthday.

Postcards that have arrived----the first is from Belarus, and the second from Finland.  I now have received over 100 cards and finally got them in an album.

Hope you have a good Thursday!  God Bless everyone.

FROM 78 TO 28....BRRRRRRRRRRRR

This is the craziest weather I can remember in a long time.  The trees are all budding and some blooming. As you saw yesterday, the flowers also are up, and tonight we are going into the 20's.
I know we are all so ready for warm weather, snow to melt and spring!

I got a good report at the doctor's office yesterday.  He said, 'call me when you need me again'!

Other than the weather, the big topic of conversation is the plane that just disappeared and no one seems to know where or why...........

That is my exciting news for the day.
Wonderful Wednesday....hope yours is!!!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES!

These buttercups or jonquils, whichever you call them, are at the foot of my mailbox.  In just two days, they have completely bloomed out and say 'spring' to me!  We had temps in the 70's yesterday and are supposed to again today.  Then, the bottom is falling out and we are back down in the 40's and nights at 20. See Saw, See Saw!

FYI for those that asked, the Arby's Reuben is delicious.  The best I have ever had was from Cracker Barrel, but Arby's runs a close second.

On TV I enjoy the 'who done it' type shows....NCIS-LA, Castle, Criminal Minds, but I have discovered a new one, new to me anyway....Leverage.  Have you ever seen this one?  It is quirky and that is what keeps my interest.

The USA channel tends to run these type shows all day, one day a week and I got hooked watching them....re-runs, but at least I haven't seen them.

March was named for the Roman god of war, Mars. This was the time of year to resume military campaigns that had been interrupted by winter.

I have a post op appointment with the ortho doc today to see if the epidural worked, which it did. Me thinks these type appointments just give the doctor the price of an office visit.

Have a nice day!

RELIEVED!

It was so nice to get up this morning, come to my computer and be able to post a blog without trouble.  It is the little things in life that matter.

Grayce's travel soccer team was in Birmingham, Alabama this past weekend and they won, and had a great time.  In the top picture she is second from the right, and in the bottom picture, she is on the right.

Gotta luv 6th graders!

Aryn's 16th birthday was celebrated in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with her two best friends.  In top picture she is standing behind her friends.  In the second picture, it is Aryn and her Dad, and the third is a waitress, feeding her, and don't ask me why!  lol

Church was really good yesterday, both morning and evening.  Our Pastor's son is home for spring break from Crown College, and he brought a powerful message last night - 'What is Christ to you?' Philippians 3:10 "That I may know Him......".  It is an individual question and many answers.

A cold weather winner!

 Potato Soup

32 oz frozen DICED hashbrowns
1-32 oz box chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1-8 oz block cream cheese
3 oz bacon pieces
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
S & P to taste

Put potatoes, soup, broth, 1/2 bacon pieces, pinch of s & p,  in crockpot.  Cook on low 8 hrs.
1 hr before serving, add cubed cream cheese. Stir a few times to melt the cream cheese. Add cheddar cheese and bacon pieces to each bowl.

Thanks again to those that helped me with my computer problems and didn't give up and delete me.  FYI - I will be using this blog and NOT the other that I made during that time.

SUNDAY - FOR REAL!

My cat heading is sticking it's tongue out at Blogger!  Right before we walked out the door to go to church, I tried one more thing to straighten out my blog and bingo!

The pop up ads are gone, I can again use different backgrounds and this girl is happy.

I will just leave things the way they are, and re-post in the morning.

Sunday

Well, I thought I had everything fixed, but lo and behold, I
haven't.  I tried to pull up my Sunday blog and all I got was last week!

Can't re-post because it is time to go to church.  Will do

it this afternoon.  Have a great day!
