My Potter is not Harry; God is my Potter.
Who is yours? Who is shaping your clay?
Isaiah 64:8 "But O LORD, thou art our father we are the clay and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand."
Sunshine and blue sky always make me smile, but this morning it is soooo cold and I wish I didn't have to step outside. I have a couple of errands to run, but may wait until the afternoon to see if it will warm up a little.
Church last night was my happy place. The message my Pastor brought was from Psalm 1:1-6, and he said it right, "sin has deceived man into believing things can make him happy". The only thing that truly make man happy is that he is living fully, totally for God.
Jim seems a little more steady this morning and he isn't slurring his words as much, so maybe prayers are being answered....keep it up!
I don't have any new pictures or any new 'news' to share, so will just say, I hope you have a very good day.
If you don't read the newspaper
you are uninformed, if you do
read the newspaper
you are misinformed.

True statement about the newspaper! Glad Jim is doing better today and hope it continues, as will my prayers! Have a lovely evening, Linda!
ReplyDeleteGood quote!
ReplyDeletePraise God Jim is doing better today and I pray he continues to improve. God bless you both with health and healing and lots of joy!
Prayers will continue for Jim, I'm glad he is doing better!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good quote from Mark Twain. It sure holds true today. I guess some things never change.
ReplyDeleteI remember a pastor from years ago tell us that each one of us is created by God with a spirit plus an empty spot in our soul. Everyone feels it as they grow older and try to fill it with "things". It won't work. That empty spot can only be filled with Him.
Continuing to pray for Jim. I'm glad he had a better day.
