WAS IT REALLY GOOD?

Dark day....dark background....or was it?

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, this man calls for Elijah.  And immediately one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
The rest said, let be, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up his spirit.
And, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks were split.

Yes, it was good because when that veil was split into, we were not under the law any more, but under the Grace of our Lord and SAVIOR, Jesus Christ.  Praise His name.

We went to Jesse's first scrimmage tee ball game yesterday.  It was so much fun seeing these little guys run, slide, jump and play.  They are so uninhibited.  We told Jesse to just have fun!

His #7, the same number his Dad had!
 Hit and run!

He had the "squat" position down pat!

The floor for the final four basketball tournament to be held in Atlanta, was made in Chattanooga and the company that made it, gave anyone interested, a chance to come and see it before it was shipped.  Of course, Aryn had to go see it, and this is her on the left and a good friend standing on that floor!  They would both love to play on that floor one of these days.

This coming weekend is a very special one and like the birth of Christ at Christmas, this weekend is even more important to Christians around the world.  Thank you Jesus.

  3. Praise God. His love and sacrifice for us is beyond our ability to fathom.
Have you seen the movie "The Passion"? It's just a man-made film depicting His suffering and death, but the first time I saw it, the feelings and the emotions I felt was so deep. My spirit grieved and we all cried.
Jesse and the boys look so cute. I love that squat position. Very professional.
You have a blessed Easter weekend, my friend.
