SATURDAY!

I do not have anything new to blog about this morning.  It is raining, has been raining and will be raining, and that isn't very exciting.
April 27, two years ago, tornadoes blew through the Tennessee Valley, destroying homes and taking dozens of lives. It's a day people around here will remember forever.

Happiness — it's what we all strive to find and keep, even when it's as elusive as ever. Nobody is happy all the time, but some people are definitely more fulfilled than others. Studies reveal that happiness has little to do with material goods or high achievement; it boils down to your outlook on life, the quality of your relationships, and basic amenities like good governance and community resources.  Read on....................
3)  Make enough money to meet basic needs
4) Treat your body like it deserves to be happy
5) Stay close to friends and family
6) Be compassionate
8) Find happiness in the job you have now
9) Smile
10) Forgive

HANG IN THERE!

  1. Good advice. Happiness is hard to find for so many people because they're looking for it in all the wrong places..... The weather channel had a segment on the tornadoes in 2011. I pray we never see another storm system like that one.

  2. Sad the devastation from the tornadoes and loss of precious life.

I pray nothing like that touches down again too.

I like your advice and outlook points. Keep smiling and hold on to the good. Thank you for your sweet friendship

  4. The tornadoes were awful. It was amazing how quickly they hit - - three times in our area - - and the devastation they inflicted. We were fortunate in that they did not come to our house but were within a mile of it. The landscape going to town has forever changed and even two years later, it still doesn't seem right to see so many trees gone from the landscape. There was a large loss of property for sure but lives lost were much less than they could have been. We do need to be thankful and enjoy each day and each minute.
