THURSDAY!

So many thoughts going through my head this Thursday.  Prayers for those in the Boston area, and overnight a horrible explosion in Texas and prayers needed there too.
We had a wonderful church service last night.  There are many, many in our 'family' with life threatening health situations; some precious folks leaving for another church; a baby that is to be one year old and has already had 7 heart surgeries, and is being taken care of by a family in the church, as she was abandoned at birth.  We have a young couple soon to be married.  Everyone is trying to be loving, caring for those ill, and then be happy and excited for the life of the baby and the upcoming wedding.  I am not sure of the correct definition of ying-yang,(In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin-yang  yīnyáng), which is often called "yin and yang", is used to describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world;) but I feel that is our situation right now.
My granddaughter ran a 4-200 race at their latest track meet and came in second out of 36 schools.  Aryn is on the right.
A wedding shower on Saturday, and then a 'going away' party for our Youth Director and his family on Sunday evening after church, makes for a busy weekend.

  2. That is quite a roster of ying-yang (the good and the bad). I pray God's will be done in each. ** Congratulations to Aryn and her team. They did good. ** You take care. ♥

  4. We have ups and downs here too. Right when you think things might be a little calmer, a dose of sadness and fear hits someone we know. Congrats to Aryn on a great run!!
