ENCOURAGEMENT!

Proverbs 12:25 -
"Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:  but a good word maketh it glad."

If we aren't careful, with so much on our own minds, we will forget that someone needs our words of encouragement.  When was the last time you told someone you were praying for them?

I had a day so bad this week, that all I could think of was what was wrong with my life.  My friends stepped up and encouraged me, and my God heard my pleas and things are better.  Encouragement means more than I even realize at times.

We have a free day!  No kids to take here or there, the sun is shining, Jim said he slept good and feels some better and that makes me feel better.  We make take a drive somewhere later this morning, so I am wishing you a Happy Friday!

  1. I'm glad you're doing better. When I hear of a friend having troubles, my first response is to say a little prayer for them. God is so good to us.
I'm glad Jim is feeling better. Hopefully he'll have many more nights or restful sleep.
It's nice to be able to get out and go for a ride, especially when we don't have any place special to go. I love doing that, but my hubby always wants to plan an "itinerary".... where we going? what are we going to do there? etc. He's weird that way. :)
    You have a great day.

  2. The power of prayer is an awesome thing!! I'm so happy you and Jim are both doing better! Enjoy your ride through that beautiful area where you reside! Tennessee is such a pretty state. Love you, dear friend!!

  6. I couldn't survive without the encouragement of God, my friends and family. My sister is one that comes to mind. She is there to lift me up and I'm there to do the same for her. I'm glad your friends provided the encouragement that you needed.
