OPENING DAY AT THE RECREATION CENTER

We just got back from the parade for the opening day at the Recreation Center.  They play tee ball, softball and baseball and this is the day it all begins.

This is the first time that Jesse has ever participated in anything like this and he is so excited!

 The beginning of the parade!
The Red Sox team - Jesse sitting by
his Dad, waving to us!

So good for these young ones to play in these games, learn to win and lose and just have fun doing it!

Jesse's first tee ball game for the season is at noon.  We are not sure we can watch it, as the parking is limited and we cant walk very far, so we will just have to wait and see.

Aryn and her family have gone to a track meet in Knoxville, where she is entered in the long jump, 2 and 4 person relays.

Hope you are thinking about this season of the year.  Thinking about our Savior.  "Low in the grave He lay" is what came to my mind this morning, but knowing tomorrow will be the day He comes out of that tomb to live evermore and provide a place for me to live with Him is unimaginable, but humbling.

Nails didn’t hold God to a cross.
Love did.
The sinless One took on
the face of a sinner
so that we could take on
the face of a saint!

  2. I love parades. I'm like a little kid when I get to go watch one. That's cool that Jesse got to ride in the parade. Some good memories for him. * Hope Aryn is having a great time. Track meets are a lot of fun too. My grandson ran in relays too and I always liked watching them. * We are almost ready to go to our daughter's for our Easter dinner. I hope you have a good day.
