Church Day......

I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.

I kept seeing these posts of pictures on Facebook, and was curious as to where folks were finding them.  The site is called "Dusty Old Things" and it brought a flood of memories.

As I looked, I found that some of the things there, I have here!  So I saved the pictures and then took pictures of my similar items. One was cameo earrings.  The first picture is from the site and the second is mine......

I inherited mine from my Aunt, my Mother's sister.  You don't see these very often now.

Question of the Day--

What did people make per hour working in the year 1900?
At the turn of the last century, the average wage in the United States was 22 cents an hour, which meant that the average U.S. worker made between $200 and $400 per year.
Now, don't you feel blessed for what you make now?

We watched an eye-opening movie last evening........."Monumental".  It is   about America's beginnings.  I learned many things that I was never taught in school.  Kirk Cameron, as he travels across the United States and Europe explores the people, places, and values that this great nation was founded on.

Have a blessed day!
