Taste of Autumn

On my indoor thermometer it is 59 outside.  I am loving it.  If you know me, you know I am a fall and winter person so I am a "happy camper" this morning.  I just opened the door and awwww, it is wonderful.  Humidity is gone, for today at least.

Jim and I went to the Fresh Market, which is a speciality market here.  He wanted something different for dinner last night.  We came home with bbq ribs for him, and a chicken breast for me.  We had the meat, boiled yukon gold potatoes, sliced tomatoes, and he had boiled okra....none for me!  But the best part of the whole meal was the blueberry cornbread we bought at that store.

Some of you may not be cornbread eaters, but we love it, and we even saved the wrapper to get the ingredients.  I suggested that we make some for gifts at Christmas!  The picture doesn't do it justice....

I have been playing with my new camera and am getting more comfortable using it.  It is a little fancier than my old one and does some different things.

The 253rd day of 2012
13 days until autumn begins

The Bible...... It doesn’t keep us from seeing all that is good; it keeps us from being infected by lies that cause spiritual blindness. The Bible doesn’t keep us from enjoying life; it makes true enjoyment possible.  The Bible doesn’t keep us from knowing truth; it prevents us from believing lies.
