BRRRRRRRRRR......

Looked out the window when I got up and there is a light frost on the ground.  Goodbye summer, hello fall!

The soccer team, Storm 02, won all 3 of their games yesterday, with their opponents scoring -0-.  Grayce played a really good game.

I enjoy so much watching all my grandchildren in their activities.  Fresh air, sunshine and exercise just cant be beat.

On the drive home, I stopped to take a picture of 1of the 3 nuclear power stacks, between Chattanooga, TN and Huntsville, AL.

Sure hope our enemies don't decide to bomb anywhere around here.  We would be gone in a flash for sure.

NATURAL ROOM SCENTS

Pine or cedar twigs (or other fragrant twigs), bay leaves, and nutmeg. These scents combine for a complex aroma. If you have whole nutmeg, use a grate to shave off the outer surface--this will release the scent. Add the whole nutmeg piece along with the gratings.

The seeds we sow today determine
the kind of fruit we’ll reap tomorrow.

  1. That's great that Grayce's team won all three games! I used to love watching my kids play sports.

I am going to have to try one of the wonderful scents you have been posting! Enjoy your Sunday, Linda!

  2. Congratulations to Grayce and her team. It's good that you got to go watch them.
It's always a bit unnerving to see those nuclear power plants. I think the same as you. Our closest is up north outside of Toledo, OH. But that's still too close in case of an attack.
I hope you're having a good Sunday. Take care.

  3. Congratulations to Grayce and her team! It's great that they won all three games, and even greater that you could be there to see it!

Natural scents are so nice in the house. I can't take the artificial scented candles and air fresheners. They give me a headache. Nothing better than natural.
