Bye bye old man cold!  Mucinex is #1 on my list of meds to have on hand at all times.  I am so much better this morning, and the only thing left is the dreaded cough, but even that is better.

I have noticed a big difference in Blogger vs. Multiply.  People don't post every day, sometimes even months between posts.  It also doesn't seem as personal as before.  What do you think?

I haven't been anywhere or done anything in the past few days, so as they say, "no news is good news".

Mini Corn Dogs..........

Generously spray a mini muffin tin with non-stick oil spray.  Fill the mini muffin pan with prepared cornbread mixture. I used a box of Jiffy cornbread mix and followed the instructions on the box.  Place the 1" hot dog pieces into the batter. Bake at 375F for ~12 minutes.

These just looked really good to me, and I love corn dogs!  Guess it is the kid in me!

Can you trust God when you are submerged in sorrow? Can you trust God when you are forsaken by friends? Can you trust God when you are dismayed by darkness and don’t know what is happening? If you can, you will shut the devil’s mouth and gain the victor’s crown.

  1. I still miss Multiply and I am holding on to it by a string. I don't know why though it's a ghost town nearly.

You have a very nice blog here. I think it will become more like home in time here at blogger.

    The mini hotdogs look great!

  4. I love corn dogs! These look good.
I know what you mean about our blogs. It's still frustrating here on Blogger when you don't know where to go or how to get my friends in my collection/subscriptions/following ... whatever... so I can find them. But I'm learning and hopefully it'll be easier to get around soon and I'll feel more comfortable writing a blog post,
You have a great day. ♥

  5. Good afternoon Linda...the corn dogs look yummy. Maybe I should put those on my weekly menu. I know my daughter Ava would love that for dinner one night. :) I love Pinterest. When I get on there I seem to lose track of time though. lol

I like your message about asking if we can trust in God. I know if I didn't have my faith and trust in God having dealt with my Mom's illness and the passing of my Step-Dad so unexpectedly would have left me in a very bad place. I am so grateful to have the faith that God's plan and reasoning for things in life are far better than my own could ever be. I also stand firm in my faith that one day I will be reunited with my family again where there is no sorrow or pain. Great is our reward is God's promise to those of us who trust and believe in him.
