Does my picture tell you anything about what it is doing outside here? I am getting used to rain. No wonder I loved Seattle and said I would live there in a minute. Rain doesn't bother me. I am not really an outdoor girl, and can always find something to enjoy inside.
My day yesterday was a delight. Caroline is 7 years old and much smarter than I ever hope to be. My daughter, her Mom, is a teacher, and Caroline is just sure she wants to be as well. These pictures are up in their playroom/bonus room, and she has a complete classroom set up. Yes, I was the pupil and didn't understand half of what I was told to do!
She kept saying, "did they do that or did they have that, back in your day Nana?" She must think I lived in a cave.
After school was over, we had to go outside for chalk drawing and jump rope contest.
She declared that she won the national jump rope contest with 25 jumps!
Needless to say, we had such a good day together and I treasure every minute. Oh, she asked how old I was and of course I say 70. She said she was going to re-name me from Nana to Old B'Nana! Love her!
I am sure some or most of you watched the debate last night. I turned it on, and after about 30 seconds, I turned it off. I have known from day one who I plan to vote for, and all that slander, mud slinging back and forth doesn't make me change my mind or respect the office of Vice President.
Hope you have fun activities planned for the weekend. Me - rest and recover.

She's so cute. I loved seeing your pictures. It sounds like you had a special day. I have all grandsons and our time together is so much different. But it's still so much fun to watch them play. We watched the debate last night and it did get ridiculous but we stuck it out. I wanted to see if Biden would lose his temper. He almost did. I think someone on the sidelines made him calm down. He kept looking off in the other direction. Oh, enough of that. I hope you have a good day and a relaxing weekend.
