Good morning to everyone!  Looks like we are in store for a pleasant day....hope you are too!

Last evening, I went to the Homecoming Parade for the schools on Signal Mtn., where my daughter, son in law, and two girls live.  Both girls rode floats, so of course Nana had to go and take pictures.  Jim couldn't go and was glad to see the pictures.  I posted on Facebook last night so some of you have already seen...but cant resist posting here.

Would ask prayers this morning, as  Jim goes for his nerve block, but first has to go to the hospital lab and have blood drawn to make sure it is ok.  He takes coumadin and most of you know that thins the blood and the doctor doing to the block, wants to be sure all is normal.

Got a call from doctor and we have been bumped up, so will say farewell.

  1. Good morning, Linda! Loved seeing the photos again! What fun homecoming was when I was in school. We didn't do a parade, but should have!! Keep us posted about Jim's procedure, please, and I've said a prayer for him!

  2. Great photos of the homecoming parade. Our homecoming is this weekend as well, and yesterday was supposed to be the parade. However, it was rained out. :( The high only got up to like 43 here yesterday and right now it feels like 30 degrees this morning. We are in store for a chilly weekend here. But will be back up into the upper 60's later in the week. Prayers for Jim and you. I hope his procedure went ok. Enjoy your weekend. :)
