How long has it been since your generosity stunned someone? Let grace unscrooge
your heart.
That is fitting for this time in our country, where the hurricane, winds, and snow have hit a large area and where people really need help. We who didn't experience the loss, need to remember to pray for those that did.
I am still in the same condition as I have been....taking pain medicine, propping up leg, reading until I fall asleep, then doing it all over again. I am afraid to drive due to the medication and also that my leg is numb off and on...just cant risk an accident on top of everything else. Won't be going to church tonight...:(
This year, when you hollow out that
Halloween pumpkin, save the seeds to make a
cool and colorful necklace. Here's how:
- Separate the seeds from the pulp and rinse them well in warm water.
- Spread the seeds out on paper towels to dry completely.
- When the seeds are dry, color them with felt-tip markers, leaving some uncolored if you wish.
- Make holes near the center of each seed, using a big needle or an awl and a block of wood.
- String the seeds with a large-eyed needle and fine elastic, using 125 to 130 seeds for a necklace and far fewer for a matching bracelet. (Measure around your neck or wrist before cutting the elastic, allowing a little extra to tie the finishing knot.)
October
31—Halloween (All Hallows’ Eve) originated with the ancient Celts, who
celebrated the new year on November 1. They believed that the souls of the dead
returned to Earth the night before.
Be Safe - Have Fun!
Hi Linda. So sorry you are still experiencing such terrible pain. Monday can't come fast enough. You remain in my prayers!! Seeing your necklace instructions reminded me to ask about your watch bracelet! Have you gotten it back yet? Are you happy with it?
