TODAY IS THE 296TH DAY OF THE YEAR!

Weather lore warns: 

If squirrels lay in a large supply of nuts, expect a cold winter.

But: When he eats them on the tree,

Weather as warm as warm can be.

To me, spring, summer and fall should be cool to hot.  Winter should be cold.  I like cold weather.  It suits me.  Having been born in, and lived in the south all my life, I get teased a lot that I should move north!

You know you are too old to Trick or Treat when:

1)  You keep knocking on your own front door.

2)  You remove your false teeth to change your appearance.

3)  You ask for soft, high fiber candy only.

4)  When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall over.

5)  People say: 'Great Boris Karloff Mask,' 

and you're not wearing a mask.

6)  When the door opens you yell, 'Trick or...' and you cant remember the rest.

7)  By the end of the night, you have a bag full of restraining orders.

8)  You have to carefully choose a costume that doesn't dislodge your hairpiece.

9)  You're the only Power Ranger in the neighborhood with a walker.

 And the number one reason Seniors should not go Trick Or Treating...

 You keep having to go home to pee.
