As I look back on all of my days
so many times and so many ways
I have been blessed and all I can say
is God is still good
sometimes the night brings sorrow and pain

but through it all He's never changed

I am thankful today because GOD IS
STILL GOOD. If you are a Christian, you can cling to His hand for now and for the future of this great country.
I am glad it is over, but I still feel I am missing something. I felt like the President would win again, but I never felt it would be this way. It just shows me that I am missing something. But God is still in control and I am going to lean on Him.
I get to go to church tonight and praise my Savior and thank Him for taking care of me every day I am on his earth. Wish you could go with me, and find the peace that I find there,
God is our refuge and strength , the One who never leaves us nor forsakes us, the glory and lifter of our heads . The election didn't go as I hoped and prayed but God knew all along and great is His faithfulness Amen Linda

ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful... I feel so empty, scared and angry right now, but we all have to remember that God is still in control. I've heard so many say this is in His plans and only He knows what will happen to our country. We have to trust Him and lean on Him. I'm still waiting for the peace within me.
ReplyDeleteI know, it isnt easy sometimes, but we have to trust Him. We certainly have no other choice here. I felt sick to my stomach this morning when I turned on the tv, but had to just stop and pray and ask Him to give me peace.
