I am having my first cup and it is my all time favorite - Dunkin Donuts! One of my granddaughters - Rayven, got a Kuerig from Santa and she is thrilled...
I had thought maybe I would like one of these too, but now not sure. But Rayven is one happy coffee drinker!
The other 5 grands got very nice gifts too.........
IPhones, John Deere tractor, fish (named blackhead...lol), doll, trampoline (in box)vest, etc., etc., etc.
I am calling my ortho doc today and see when I can schedule an epidural. I have had no relief at all and cannot go on like this much longer. Please continue to pray.
I know this is too late, but maybe we can all remember for next year......at least we cat lovers can!!!
How can we keep our cat away from our Christmas tree?
Folks have suggested a lot of things over the years, and
you may have to try several until you find a method that fits your cat's
personality. The most direct route may be to keep your cat out of the room where
the tree is. If that's not possible, try lining the tree's lower trunk with
aluminum foil. Some cats hate the sound and feel of it and won't try to climb up
with the foil there. Another trick may be to keep a pot of rye grass or catnip
near the tree to act as a diversion. Cats may respond to loud noises or the
popular method of spraying water at them when they begin to attack the tree, but
we've found that their little cat brains forget this message pretty quickly, and
they're soon back to cause trouble again.
Enjoy the rest of your week! A new year is right around the corner.
Good morning, Linda. Sorry to hear you are still in pain. Me too, I'm also sorry to say. I called my doctor to see if he would prescribe a dose-pac of predisone for me, to get me through the weekend with my family - at Downtown Disney and Legoland. They won't until I give the cortisone injection two weeks. I may rent one of those scooters for a week, so I can enjoy my time with the cousins. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your grands had a great Christmas! We had a Kuerig machines at the Museum, back when they first came out. We didn't keep it for long. It was way too expensive to buy supplies for. I know lots of companies are making the little k-cups now, but give me a whole pot so I can fill my thermos on weekdays, and have several cups ready on a weekend. I'll keep my Bunn. Glad Rayven likes it, though. Probably perfect for her!
Take care! Love & hugs.
Do get the scooter...at least you wont be in constant pain. I have a call in to my doc to schedule the epidural and I dont care if it is 1-1...just do it. I cant do anything at all, and am miserable. For the reason you mentioned, I dont think the Kuerig is for me. I want more than one cup and wouldnt like having to get up to make each one. She is the only coffee drinker at their house so she wont mind...and she is young! lol
ReplyDeleteThat is a big problem this time of year for all kitty parents. Some of those recommendations I've never heard, but each is worth a try since each little 'furball' is different. I didn't have problems with mine trying to climb the tree. He would just run toward it and knock the decorations off, then act like "I didn't do that".
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still in so much pain. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers.
It sounds like the grandkids had a good Christmas.
You take care. ♥
