Another wet Monday. I am not a summer person at all, but I would welcome two or more straight days of sunshine and blue sky. I don't look forward to the miserable hot, humid, bug infested days of summer, but spring around here is quite pleasant. The daffodils that are blooming out by my mailbox are giving me a sneak peek.
It was pouring rain most of the afternoon and night and I did not go back to church. I wasn't feeling up to it, and paddling around in the rain might have made my cold worse, so I stayed home and nursed myself. I am sure God understands. I did have a solid night of sleep and rest and do feel much better this morning.
No plans today, so I guess I cant put off laundry much longer...
So glad to hear you are feeling better this morning, after a good night's sleep!! I did get my laundry done last night. The last load was out of the dryer by 11:05. It is one of those chores that I just make myself keep up with weekly, or it would become totally overwhelming.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling a little better. It was probably wise that you didn't go out in the nasty weather. I know when I have a cold, a rainy day always makes me feel worse.
