I don't know the way this Windows 8 is laid out as far as finding things...I used Bing on Windows 7 and had no trouble. I have to hunt for a search engine and then what it gives me is nothing like I want or had before. I cant find the backgrounds for my blog and when I do find one, it wont work to add it...grrrrr I know it takes time to learn something new, but I am not getting any younger, sitting here, going from this screen to another, back and forth. I am tired of trying to find things to be honest, and am questioning myself as to this laptop vs another old fashioned desktop.
We have no plans for the weekend. No sports to go see, weather not the best to get out and ride around, so it will probably be rest and relax time.
So true!
Sadly by the time you get comfortable with that system, it will be time to break in a new one. Luckily I am still on XP and think they should never have tried to fix what wasn't broke.

ReplyDeleteI got curious and looked up some help on Windows 8. I can now see why you're having difficulties. It is very different. But here's a YouTube video of a guy showing some instructions on getting started. He has other videos too.
