MISTAKE!

Will I never learn?  I know better and yet I continue to test my body.  I moved some furniture in the livingroom the first of this week, and guess what?  My back is telling me I shouldn't have done that.  I just hate it that I cant do things like I used to do, and take a chance.  For thinking, I suffer.

The Pastor's message was so good last night.  II Timothy 3:1-5.  The things that are listed were written over 2000 years ago, but apply to today.  What a great God we have.

I can go in church feeling low and yukky, and I always come out feeling happy, restored and thankful.  God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!

Grocery day was yesterday, so today will be pharmacy day to pick up prescriptions already filled and leave 3 scripts to be filled and picked up later today.

Grayce is in the 5th grade and they had a "HoeDown" day at school and she sure dressed the part!

Enjoy your day, stay warm, stay safe if you have to go out in bad weather.  It won't be this cold forever, spring is somewhere down the road.

Dogs come when they're called;
cats take a message and get back to you later.

  1. Grayce looks adorable - a Daisy Mae for sure!! :)

So sorry about your back, Linda! You must stop pushing!! (easier said than done, I know)

Gosh - your background makes me want chocolate!! On my second cup of coffee already!

I don't think I told you that my daily reading, chronological Bible came and I am a couple of weeks into the daily readings. Loving it - but will be happy when Genesis runs out. All the begets and begots can be overwhelming!!

    1. I'm reading a chronological Bible too. Wait until you get to Joshua and all the dividing of the land. That's overwhelming as well. I keep at it, because it's God's word and He put it all in there for a reason, but it's hard to wade through sometimes.

  2. I totally agree on the begets and begots! I know better than to do what I did, so I have nothing or no one to blame when I hurt, but me. Doubt I will ever learn....lol So glad you are feeling better.

  5. Good afternoon, have to stop and figure out what's for supper tonight.

We're suppose to get some ice before morning, but I hope it misses us. Probably enough to put the schools on a two hour delay.

I know what you mean about testing the body, I do it all the time and then pay for it, pain usually last longer then it took to do the job I was thinking twice about doing and went ahead and did it and ended up in PAIN.

Your Granddaughter sure looks cute in her hoedown outfit. Hope she had fun. Have a great evneing.

  7. I know how you feel about not being able to do what we once took for granted. If I even move one chair my grandson gets after me and says I need to wait until he can be there to do it for me. (he is 11 years old!)
Have a nice day and feel better.
