CALI, MY UT VOLS CAT!
When she wakes up, she intends for everyone else to wake up too, no matter the time. This morning I guess crashing the glass meant 'I am up and you should be too'! She will walk on me, meow in my ear, lick my face, anything to get me to wake up. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
But of course she makes up for all that later in the day when she crawls in my lap and looks up as if to say, 'I lub you and am grad you are my momma!'
Good Saturday morning. The mission team is home, safe and sound and I look forward to hearing about their experience on Sunday. From the pictures they posted, God was very busy in their lives and the lives of those in Guyana. Have a good Saturday!

I know the feeling well as we had 4 cats. We did find as they got older, they slept through the night. I hope your heart is back to normal beating.
ReplyDeleteWe have two climbers, so I have had to move things around to lessen the probability of accidents. Fortunately, and probably because we have multiple cats, they don't bother us too much in the mornings. They seems to get going when we do, no matter how late we sleep in. Thank goodness! Love the catisms this morning! I know your mission kids will have a great message for the congregation this weekend! Have a good one!! Love & hugs.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is why I DON'T have a cat. Sorry. I've had a couple cats before, but thankfully they weren't climbers. I can imagine the falling glass scared the wits out of you. It would have me.
ReplyDeleteI love the list of puns. They're funny.
The experiences of the mission team will be so interesting to hear. You have a good weekend. ♥
Cats do as they please no matter what we do or want. I have two climbers but so far they have been good about not knocking things off or damaging anything. They do make up for any mischief though before days end. It is always interesting to hear about mission trips. Enjoy your weekend sweet Linda. Hugs and blessings.
ReplyDeleteLove your cat post. Our daughters cat will roam the house at night, if the bedroom door is shut, he keeps pawing until you finally let him in, then he paws the closet doors. So we are using the cage we got to put the dog in at night, and made it into a cage for the cat at night. When you tell him it's bedtime, which is around 8pm, he'll follow you into the room where the cage is, we put several treats into the cage on his pillow and he walks in. Daughter gets him up around 5 to 5:15 every morning, even week-ends. And he usually goes straight to the litter box. He's a good cat, except for that pawing doors. But he too likes to roam and knock over things, that's why we do the cage. More peaceful for everyone. Have a great week-end.
ReplyDeleteSounds a lot like our cat! But what would I do without him?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
My cats are usually good about not waking us, although Maggie May has been known to paw a face if we sleep too late.
ReplyDeletePun with Words gave me a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteSo glad the mission team is home; I'm sure that they planted seeds that God will water and nurture.
ReplyDeleteRegarding cats...gotta love 'em. That's just the way they are!!!
