GOOD NEWS!

We visited the pain clinic and she was happy with Jim's progress and instead of going every month, we will now go every 2 months.  She went ahead and gave us prescriptions for his pain medicines.  We left there and went to IHOP for breakfast to celebrate.

Then at 1 pm, we went to see his primary care physician and he too, was pleased with the progress in strength and attitude.  The anti-depressant medicine is obviously working, so he extended the prescription on that too.  He laughed and said he even got a little smile out of him.  He will see him every 2 months as well, and said he would sign orders for physical therapy as long as he is making progress.

I know that doesn't seem like much to some people, but to us, here, living with it, it is a big 'jump'!

Getting my hair cut today and going to the post office to get more stamps for my 'postcrossing' cards.  Three of mine have been received so far, and I am looking forward to getting some myself. Also a visit to Walmart to take back and exchange a pair of shorts for Jim.  Church tonight.

So that is my fun day.  Hope yours is a good one too. We have to be thankful for the little gifts that come in our lives in different forms.

  6. I love the little chuckle at the end. My family enjoys it too. hehehehe
I'm celebrating with you too. For Jim's doctors to say that they were happy with his progress is wonderful. The power in prayer. He's had so many praying for him, they're being answered. God love him. ♥

    1. Our Pastor's son, who has been called to preach, was the one that brought the message, and he did a really good job. We all love him almost as much as we love his Dad...lol
