Wishing you a blessed Sunday.

I received another 'Postcrossing' card yesterday and it is from Russia.

The Frauenkirche (in English, "Church of Our Lady") is a church in Nuremberg,Germany. It stands on the eastern side of the main market. An example of brick Gothic architecture, it was built on the initiative of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor between 1352 and 1362. The church contains many sculptures, some of them heavily restored. Numerous works of art from the Middle Ages are kept in the church.

I have really enjoyed getting these post cards from countries all over the world and have seen some new sights and learned some new information.  Guess the old saying, 'never too old to learn' is true!

Today is the 216th day of 2013, and there are 49 days until Autumn begins!

When we take time to ponder, we will see the faithfulness of our great God.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow—
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
God gives by promise that we may take by faith.

  1. Awesome postcard! Linda- I love coming here as everyday you change your page!!! (you know, I think we were seperated at birth! lol) 49 days till Autumn? WOW. Well..it is 68* and very breezy, so it is a tad chiller than 68. Not complaining..it sure feels like fall. Have a blessed remainder of this Sunday!

    1. Linda, I probably should leave my title picture and background, etc. like so many folks do, but I enjoy creating a new page every day. I always did that when I was on yahoo 360 and Multiply and guess I just keep the habit going! lol Hope you have a lovely Sunday.

  2. That is very interesting, the church and it's history. I'm enjoying your reports on the post cards you've received. We're never too old to learn something new. It helps grow new brain cells. At least that's what "they" say. (I've got to find this "they" because I have so many unanswered questions and "they" seem to have all the answers.) LOL
