FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

I know it is not required that one post a new blog every day.  I know the sun will still shine and the world will go on.  But when you have done so for the past 10+ years, it just seems normal to have my morning coffee, while posting.

My title picture this morning really is 'food for thought'.  Oh but we could push a button and make the world a better place, but sigh, we can't.  I am 71 years old and have a good life, but the world is in such a crazy, mixed up place right now, that Heaven seems sweeter than usual.  Bombing, killing on the streets, children being sacrificed, rape, flooding, fires, wars and rumors of war - sound familiar?

Matthew 24:6-8

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.

We have a couple in my church who are missionaries to Honduras and have been for many years.  The following article will certainly make me pray even more for them.

The most dangerous city in the world is not where you might think it is...........

Jim has physical therapy today and I will be going to Aryn's volleyball game. Fortunately, she is riding to the game with another player's Mom, so I don't have to go up the mountain.  Plus the school they are playing is less than 5 miles from the house.

That's it for today!

  2. Your title picture is something to think about. I wish it was possible. "All these are the beginning of sorrow." It scares me so much to think of what my grandchildren will have to live through after I'm gone. All I can say is "come quickly Lord Jesus!"

That's good you don't have to drive up the hill to get Aryn today. I hope she and her team have a good game. And Jim's therapy goes well.

Have a good day, my friend. ♥

  3. If only we could just push that button! Glad you don't have to travel up the mountain to see Aryn play today! Good luck to her team! Hope Jim's therapy goes well today, and he continues to show improvement! I agree that things seem just terrible out there. We can almost start checking off the things found in Revelations, telling us the end times are here. I worry about the next generations and the kind of world they will have to live in. Pray without ceasing.
