If we want people to imitate us, we must first imitate our Lord. If we have any reason for people to follow our example—if we have any courage to point others to the Savior—it is because of Him, not us.
Are we living the life before others so that the Lord will be pleased, or do we act one way in church and another out in the world?
Good Sunday morning to all. From looking at the thermostat it looks like we are having another cool morning and hoping for another sunny day. I look forward to going to worship with my friends and family this morning.
I have received three more postcards, one from Poland, one from USA, and one from Germany.
I have really enjoyed being part of Postcrossing. It is amazing to me that people all over the world participate and I look forward every day to see what country I will have a card from.
Well, short of looking forward to church today and the epidural in the morning, I have no other news to share. Have a nice day!
You've gotten so many neat postcards! Praying for you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThank you for tomorrow's prayers and those all along. You are good friend.
DeleteYou've gotten some very nice postcards. Hope all goes well tomorrow, my friend. I'm praying for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol, I covet your prayers.
DeletePrayng for tomorrow. My son is struggling with this very topic. I won't go into detail, but it is hard to be in a public college and the kids act the way they do. Had to have a long talk with our son on his behavior. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI know it is hard. My 3 children went to a Christian school all the way thru high school and then went to public colleges. It is a BIG change for sure. Hope your son understands and will hold his ground.
ReplyDeleteWill be thinking of you and sending you my prayers. Good Luck!!
ReplyDeleteVery good Sunday lesson. And I enjoyed the postcards. God bless.
ReplyDeleteCatching up, Linda. Late, but catching up! I know your epidural went well, so prayers answered!!
