Yes, I am thankful because I am still alive and on God's green earth. What will I do today - not yet decided, but I am here to do it!
The day at church yesterday was amazing. The Sanctuary was completely full and there were 70+ children downstairs in Children's Church. Our Pastor brought a message that was simple and easy for anyone to understand. The choir seemed to sound better than ever and a quartet of men sang the special. Their voices blended beautifully - gave me 'goose bumps'!
The meal after in the Activity Center was great. There was more food than I have ever seen in one place at one time. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures - was too busy eating! I am sure someone did and if I can copy them, I will share. After eating, we all went back to hear more good music of the 4 that played the guitar, banjo and mandolin...."I'll Fly Away", "Amazing Grace" and "In the Sweet By and By". The congregation joined in on the chorus on all three songs. The Pastor then brought a 15 minute 'thought' and sent us home with a heart full of love and praise.
My hand seems to be some better this morning, so let's hope and pray it continues to heal.
Good morning!
