I love fall, I love the holidays, I love family time, and even though I am old or getting old, whichever you prefer, I love that I can still learn new things. Computers and the Internet should have been around when I was young and still in school. I probably would have gone a different direction other than nursing. I love gadgets and especially when they work!
We have two windows on either side of what used to be a fireplace and is now a bookcase that is wall to wall. There is one long mantel at the top and Cali loves to sit up there. Yesterday, I notice that the pear tree out back has really turned it's pretty red, so I got my camera to take a picture. Well, Cali couldn't stand it and had to be up there and in the pictures too!
Church was good last night as always. Every time I go, I go expecting something, and God never ceases to amaze me with what He has for me. The message was from 1 John 1.
..........6"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
HAVE A HAPPY THURSDAY!
I'm reading Ezekiel and Luke right now. Loving Luke! Finding Ezekiel to be a real downer, then am lifted up by what Luke tells us!! The Bible is fascinating, indeed.
