"This is the day the Lord hath made,
let us rejoice and be glad."
Have you ever heard this group? ll Divo -
Amazing voices singing Amazing Grace!
Hope you have had a good weekend. We have really done nothing. Rode through town, across the Tennessee River bridge and back home. The color is fading fast and everything is looking brown.
Heading to church before too much longer. Lunch in the crock pot of beef roast, mushrooms, onions and potatoes in mushroom soup for gravy. Made eggnog homemade ice cream to go with the chocolate cake. All that and a nice nap will be our day.
Wishing you a blessed Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYour lunch sounds yummy, Linda!! I can almost smell the beef in the crockpot! Il Divo is a great group and their version of Amazing Grace is from beyond this world. You are so right about the evil one living among us!! Enjoy that nap, Linda!! Love your background and the verse in your title photo. Be blessed!!
ReplyDeleteThose young men have amazing voices.
ReplyDeleteAs for the devil, yes he's still very much walking among us, still trying to deceive us. We have to always be on the look out for him. When something bad happens and someone says, why would God let that happen, I say to myself it's not God letting it happen Satan has so many years to turn everyone against God, and it's the devil making these bad things happen so God will get blamed.
Your lunch sounds delicious. Today we will have left over chili for Abe and me and left over spaghetti for the Granddaughter.
Have a blessed day and enjoy the nap. One of the few things that's still free and we can enjoy and don't get fat over. LOL
Il Divo are so talented. I really like that song.
ReplyDeleteI made chicken noodle soup in the crockpot and it was perfect after church. Enjoy your day!
They are very talented! Lunch/dinner sounds good,Linda! I am making hamburgers. Cold, windy and rainy here. The Devil..shuddering..more family issues I care to relate..all I can do is pray for the lost. BTW. I can not get through Amazing Grace without crying. Blessings
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are having to deal with more family problems. I will pray that God intervenes.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda... I'm a day late again but I had to check in to see how you were doing.
ReplyDeleteI love this group and the song always gives me chills and tear up. So beautiful and it touches my spirit.
Your dinner sounds delicious.
I hope your hand feels better now after sleeping on it wrong the other night.
Praying you have a good week ahead.
