14 DAYS AND COUNTING!

Good Wednesday morning to all.  It is a cold morning of 26 degrees, but the sun is shining which will make it a nice day here.  Hope you have a nice day too!

I went to Jesse's school Christmas program last night.  Jim is still fighting a heavy chest cold and just didn't feel good at all, so he didn't get to attend.  I videoed most of it, so he can at least see Jesse perform!  It was jam packed, with standing room only.  Jesse had told his Mom before they left the house that he was a little shy (never is, never was and never will be) and afraid he would mess up.  I promise you, he was all into it, and so animated.  I was sitting by Murphy, his dad and my son, and I looked over at him and said, that is you 35 years ago!

The stage before the performance!

He is on the second row on the left, with
very blond hair.
He is the blond in the middle!!!

Aryn's basketball team played the winner of the District last year, and was supposed to be the winner again this year, but shock upon shock, they wont be because Aryn's team beat them last night 42-37 and she scored 20 points!!!  It was a thrill for them and I hate it we didn't get to see the game.

Speaking of the team, they are going to be on the radio today, promoting the 'Hoops For Hope' tournament this Saturday.  The Mary Ellen Locher fund helps provide college tuition for students who have had a parent diagnosed with breast cancer. Two scholarships were awarded at last year's Hoops for Hope.  Mary Ellen was a local TV broadcaster who died from breast cancer.  Aryn's team has been involved since the beginning of this tournament.  One of the girls on her team designed the t-shirts to be sold and which will also benefit the foundation.

A little shopping (very little) for me today and church tonight.  Jim isn't much better and we are concerned that he will end up with pneumonia, so doubt he will go tonight.  Say a little pray for him.
