We have our milk and bread and have gas logs in the fireplace, so we should be ok unless it lasts too long. Praying my friends up north and midwest are safe and warm this morning.
Which cereal do healthy snowmen have for breakfast?
Frosties! Clean Christmas Jokes
Chilly sauce!
What sort of cakes do snowmen like?
The ones with thick icing!
What did the snowman's hat say to the scarf?
You hang around while I go on ahead.
What sort of ball doesn't bounce? A snowball.
The BCS game is tonight between Auburn University and Florida State University. I really have no preference since my team isn't in it, but at least I can say, they are both southern teams. Around the country, many colleges feel that SEC/Southern teams are not very good or can't beat them because they are the big boys. Well, the big boys aren't playing for the national championship!
The game is being played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. We have been there. It is a great place, but to be honest, once you have been to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, where the UT VOLS play, all other stadiums look and are small! We did have a good time the year we went however, as UT became the National Champions.
I'll bet those mountains look gorgeous ... from a distance. :) It's getting colder here in SE Georgia with more rain. The wild birds are hitting our feeders this morning. We're having a real winter this year! We should all have pretty Spring's, though, with all this extra water.
ReplyDeleteThe snowman jokes are a hoot! They're very cute.
God bless. ~:)
Loved the jokes! We have been to Neyland, love the fact you can just pull a boat up to it. However, Alabama has the best stadium, it sits well over 100,000, very fancy. Choking on this..but we are rooting for Auburn, not liking the fact that FSU hid the facts about the "alledged" rape. ANYWAYS--Stay warm and safe..slick here (freezing rain/snow), the temps are suppose to drop to the minus. Blessings
ReplyDeleteLinda, I have been to Ala., Auburn, LSU, Vandy, So. Carolina, and UT stadiums, and Neyland is the second largest (over 100,00 too) in the country on campus. Michigan is the largest, all others are off campus, like Bama. I guess we all think 'ours' is the best...lol Oh, and Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Mesa, Az, to Tostida Bowl. They each have something special about them.
DeleteOH Contraire (sp?)., Univ. of Alabama/Bryant Stadium is on campus, lol. You might be thinking of UAB (Univ of Al at Birmingham) which is slightly off campus ---You are so correct, they are all special, I have been to several others as well. We do like Neyland though..love the water access, lol. Like I said..we love Chattanooga, Knoxville, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg. I could live in any of those. Blessings and tons of smiles. Thank you for memory lane..you sure make me smile.
DeleteI am sorry Linda, you are right that Bryant - Denny stadium is on campus now. I went when they played at Legion Field.
DeleteGood morning! We are in the frigid zone...not to worry...I rarely venture out of the comfort of my home anytime! ; )
ReplyDeleteSteve and Rhett will be watching the game, while I watch in amazement at the young women who are looking for fame...I mean love... on the Bachelor. ; )
Have a cozy day, my friend.
We have the wood stove on "high" today! Very cold!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're prepared for the 'Arctic Blast' I hope its short lived!!!
ReplyDeleteI like that... guess I need more coffee. :) I love the jokes... thanks for the chuckle.
ReplyDeleteI hope the arctic air doesn't stay very long. Right now we're at minus -11 with a minus 37 wind chill!!! Horrible!! But by the weekend we're suppose to be up around 40°. That will feel down right balmy!
You be safe and warm.
Thanks for the laughs tonight! It's nice to see a fun spin on this nasty weather. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! Love the snowman jokes! Of course, we are hoping Florida wins tonight, but we aren't watching the game. Not big FSU fans...this is more Gator country here. Glad you are settled in and ready for the bad weather. Sounds like it may break on Friday....
