We did get to go to Aryn's basketball game. They won and she scored 15 points. It was a game where everyone finally pitched in and they played together. Several of the girls scored instead of waiting on Aryn to do it all. That is what she, her coach, her parents and we have been hoping for, and they did come together.
The beginning, and her team is on the right!
The end!
We have a metal roof and the rain beat down on it most of the night. That is almost like singing me to sleep!
No other news to report, so will leave you with the Senior Texting Code!
Ok, second try..(Blogger is being Blogger)--as you know, we have a family motto/saying: Want to make God laugh? Tell him your plans.--congrats to your granddaughters win. Raining & dark here, at least its not that cold (45*)-Blessings
ReplyDeleteGreat news that Aryn's team came together and won as a team!! Seems like she didn't get quite as many points as she needed, though, to make 1,000 (or you would have told us). Perhaps next game!! Life is a puzzle, for sure, but it is so comforting to know when a piece gets lost, we have our friend, Jesus, to help us find it!! Hallelujah!!
ReplyDeleteLife is definitely a puzzle. But I know if I don't have all the pieces, God does.
ReplyDeleteThat's good the coach got all the girls into the game. Did Aryn get antsy when she wasn't in the action? She's such a driven player and loves the game so much, I was just thinking of that.
Hope you have a great day.
Congrats to Aryn again. She sure is a go getter.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the seniors texting code. I'm going to so steal that! *giggle*
Life is definately a puzzle. I'm just as mystified as most, I guess. However, I could fix everything if y'all would just make me Queen of this place. Righttttt. *roflocgu* Hey, it doesn't hurt to try.
God bless. ~:)
lol, love ya Queenie!
DeleteSo happy to read about Aryn's team....and the teamwork! That's what it is all about!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, it is raining...it is POURING here. It has been raining now for 3 days.
The plants love it, I'm sure.
Me. ?
Not so much. :))
Love you,
Jackie
Good afternoon. Sun is shining here at the moment, Good to hear your Granddaughter's team won. That's always nice. Hope you are doing well and also hubby. Abe would love to live in a house with a metal roof to hear the rain, but not me. LOL We have three skylights and we can hear it hitting them, but it isn't the same as a tin roof. Have a great week ahead.
