ON WE GO!

Pain still severe.  As long as I am laying down or sitting, I can tolerate it, but walking or standing is when it hurts the worst.

"They" say snow in the amounts of 4-5 inches headed our way tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday.  The kids will be going to school this summer if they miss many more days.  The most is to go to our south and in north Georgia, but we are on the Tennessee Georgia line.  My daughter teaches in north Georgia.

Yesterday was our Pastor's 5th anniversary of being at our church.  He and his family are very loved and I have never heard one single person say anything bad about them.  We are praying he stays for many more years.  I did not go to church yesterday, but after the evening service, there was a special time in the fellowship building, honoring them.
Saturday we did manage to get to the gymnastics program of two of our sweet granddaughters.  This is their first year, but they had fun and did their best!  We left early because I was hurting so bad, but did get to see them perform a little!
Are  you watching the Olympics?  For some reason, maybe pain, I just haven't been watching at all.
That about catches me up and even if I don't comment on your post, know I am reading them all.  I read a couple and go back to my recliner..read a few more, etc.

Seven days and counting!!!

  3. So sorry about your pain. That appointment can't come soon enough! Glad you did get to the gymnastics event for your two little ones. They look so precious!

I have not watched the Olympics yet, and am sorry to have missed the opening. I have only seen part of the ice dancing, and the USA did win 1st place (I think). I enjoy the ice skating events, but am sorry to be missing so much! Love & hugs, Linda. Prayers!!

  4. I thought about you this morning while preparing for the day and said an extra prayer for you both. I'll keep praying that maybe they can take you early or the pain will subside on its own. Bless your heart. Been there, done that with my shoulder / neck pain. xx

I haven't watched to Olympics since the 70s. Just not interested since the Communist countries always cheat anyway.

    God bless. ~:)

  6. Bless your heart. You sound great though in spite of your pain. Is there any kind of a brace that can help reduce the pain at all?
They have cancelled school here for tomorrow but if there is a problem, it looks like Wednesday will be worse. I don't care if we get to stay home but my husband still has to get out and that worries me. I had to meet my daughter at Wal-Mart this afternoon since her husband was home sick with the stomach bug. She was getting him some crackers and more "fluids" to ingest. The store was crazy busy - - - probably with people preparing for the snow. One of the workers who is a friend said it has been like Black Friday!

  8. My shoes! I loved them. That's good you were able to go watch the girls for awhile. They are so cute.
We could get a couple more inches of snow tomorrow too, but then it's warming up which will bring rain and sleet.
I'm still praying for early spring weather and for you. Sorry you're in so much pain. I'll be thinking of you. Hope you feel better soon.

  9. My back does the same thing, standing, walking about kills me, when in the kitchen, I walk around holding on to counter top edge or stuff. It feels like a large muscle cramps up so tight, it's almost impossible to walk.

Arthritis doctor will go over the results of the testing on the 19th. I did see a copy of the CT Spine Lumbar without Contrast-Details
    Impression:
    1. At the L3-L4 level, there is a mild broad-based bulge vertebral disc causing mild impingement on the ventral aspect of thecal sac. WHAT EVER THAT MEANS
    2. At the L4-L5 level, there is a grad 1 spondylolisthesis of L4 with respect to L5 and in associated bulge of the intervertebral disc causing impingement on the ventral aspect of thecal sac and nerve roots bilaterally.
    3. At the L5-S1 level, there is a left-sided bulge of the intervertebral disc causing mild impingement on the ventral aspect of thecal sac and possibly on the left-sided nerve root.
    4. At the L3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1 levels, there is facet hypertrophy.

Hope we both get backs to feeling better soon without any surgery. Surgery will be my last resort.

I guess the doctor will explain that all to me. LOL

SNOW, forget it, I'm so tired of it this winter. Hang in there and rest a lot, only place that feels half way decent is in my recliner.
