MOTHER
My Mother died in 1975, when she was 60 and I was 34.
My Dad died around 1993, but again, I never saw him
or knew him.
ME
All my life I have been told that I looked like my Daddy, and seeing these pictures, I think they must be right, because I sure don't look like my Mom. I don't have any pictures of my Dad tho, to compare!
I think you're right, you don't look a lot like your mom. Both pretty ladies though!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mari; I grew up to age 34 and then she died but I still miss her to this day and wish she could see my children and her grandchildren.
DeleteBoth beauties!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a cozy day, my friend. : )
Your mom was a beautiful woman, Linda, and I can see her smile in your smile!!
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely ladies! I would think there might be a big longing in my life just to see my dad's picture. Do you have any pictures of his relatives?
ReplyDeleteI may have to disagree. I can see your mother in your face. You have the same smile. You're both very pretty.
ReplyDeleteUmm..are you kidding me? I see your mother in your face as well. Beautiful..just beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
ReplyDeleteYeah, I see your Mother's features in your face. Y'all have the same cheek bones. Very lovely. It's sad your birth-father never saw you or the kids. Very sad. I look exactly like my birth-mother, right down to her voice (or, so they tell me). We could be twins. I never met her but my biological Aunts and an Uncle said I have her voice pattern. I think I have the same type ears and hands of my birth-father. ~:)
ReplyDeleteYou are both beauties!
ReplyDeleteI am almost a clone of my mom and my sister strongly resembled our dad. Genetics are funny.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post...
ReplyDeleteI love to see photos of my blogging friends...and each of their family members.
Sending great biiiiig hugs to you, Linda.
Love,
Jackie
