WHAT CAN I SAY?

Same old thing - snow, snow and snow.  I dont know how my friends up north and in the midwest handle snow like this every single year.  I have always been a winter person, but when I think about it, it was because I was young, wanted to play outside, and didnt drive, so didnt have to go anywhere.  All I can say is boooooooooooooo snow.....go away.

I dont enjoy cooking, so don't do that.  I don't knit or make cards.  My house is old and re-decorating is a no-no.  Reading is all I do, other than compute, and a person can get weary of both.  I have looked for something interesting or new to post, and can't find a thing worth my efforts.  Waaaaaaaaaa!

How about snow boredom?  May have to do this today!

Wherever you are, stay warm, stay safe, and 'ride it out' as I will be doing.  My son lives next door and has a Jeep so if we need anything, he can drive that and get it for us.

  2. I've heard you say, so many times over the years, how you don't like summer and love winter! Your post today just made me chuckle. Linda, I can't imagine having to deal with snow, ice and freezing temps anymore. I love Florida. Have I mentioned that I love Florida? :)

    Hang in there!!

    1. I know Terri, but as I have grown older, the cold weather makes me hurt all over, and right now even more. I do like being inside and looking at the snow, but to live up north where there is days and days of it, and much deeper, I would go nuts! I am happy for you to be out of the cold and in Florida tho! Just as I wouldnt want the snow and cold, I wouldnt want the hot year round either. Love the change of seasons I guess.

  3. I can't think of anything to post either. I think all this gloomy, wet, nasty weather is making me grumpy. *giggle* Plus I was sick, again, yesterday. Just a tummy thing but it's getting boring.

What a winter! Hope y'all stay warm up there. God bless. ~:)

  4. I hear ya, Linda! Our winters have never been as bad as this one. We would get one or two storms a season that would close schools and shut us in but this winter those types of storms have been a weekly event. It's crazy!! Stay warm and safe!!

  6. My husband is the only one who had to go to work today because he works for an independently owned company. Although it has snowed off and on all day in Cleveland, the roads have been clear - - - until a few mins ago. It is starting to stick now. I called and told him to get himself home as soon as possible. I do feel badly for those out working. My sister lives near Augusta, GA and has been without power since late morning. She said they have ice, fallen trees about everywhere, and huge power outages. Fortunately she has a wood fireplace so she will stay warm.

  8. So glad that your son lives next door and that you have that measure of comfort should you need to call on him.
I can't complain about the snow because we never see it....never.
    Sigh.
But...I am thankful for whatever climate the Lord has me to live in.
I pray for the safety of those in the path of the winter storm today and tomorrow.
    Take care of you.
    Hugs,
    Jackie
