I always forget until the afternoon, but here goes.....
1) Loving this weather.
2) Love hot cider and cant wait to get a gallon.
3) Sorted winter clothes and putting summer clothes away.
4) Peeked in at Multiply and there was a message to transfer anything you wanted to, to Blogger! Hmmm, we knew ahead of time the best place to go, didn't we?
5) Are you a Dancing with the Stars fan? I started to watch and then just decided I had seen most of the ones on there, so didn't get into it. I am, however, picking Emmit Smith!
6) Does anyone ever really get 100% caught up on laundry? I sure don't, and it gets old.
7) Has anyone read any "Jack Reacher" mysteries? I am reading "The Affair" now. Except for some of the language, it is really good. I enjoy mysteries and most of the 200+ books on my Kindle are that kind.
8) We are still appreciating our "Magic Jack" telephone. No monthly bills is a plus, and free long distance, caller ID, answering service and $19.95 a year gets better and better.
9) During our cleaning out and sorting, next is the Christmas decorations. Some have sentimental value, but a large number of the "stuff" can be given to Goodwill or others. I know it seems early to begin thinking of Christmas, but it will be here before we know it.
10)Do you have a fireplace? (except Terri :) I love having one and cant wait to get it going. Ours is propane, but it warms the whole house.
Good afternoon, Linda! Great thoughts! A big huge NO to #6!! LOL..We do have a fireplace and can't wait to have our first fire of the season in it! There is nothing more cozier and peaceful than a warm fire on a cool autumn or winter evening:-)
ReplyDeleteKris, to me it is almost like a fire in the fireplace makes me safe. Does that make sense? I know it warms everything, is calming and peaceful as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! We had a fireplace when we lived in Virginia. That was almost 24 years ago, though. I don't miss it at all. Many houses have fireplaces here in Florida. My aunt & uncle lived in Ft. Lauderdale, and their fireplace was their only heat in the winter. They didn't have a furnace. It does get down into the low 40s at night sometimes, and we think temps in the 60s are COLD! LOL I'm with you and Kris - no to #6. As soon as you take off what you had on while doing the laundry, you have more laundry! It doesn't end. This season of DWTS is all the former winners - looking for an All-Star winner this season. I enjoyed it last night. I'll have to go to Multiply and check out their transfer link. Thanks for mentioning it. Wishing you a good rest of the day!
ReplyDeleteTerri, since I had previously deleted Multiply, I just typed in Multiply.com and pulled it up. That is where I saw the suggestion to transfer "things" to Blogger.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a fireplace, right now I don't even have a furnace it better not get cold LOL our AC went out right AFTER the hot weather so we are good. Gotta get things fixed though! Seasons changing.
ReplyDeleteHot apple cider sounds great
I wish I could have a fireplace...but not here in this small apartment. I did the switch of my clothes this past weekend....I am not happy with the cooler weather...I am a warm weather person.
