Wooo Hooo!

50 degrees when I woke up and I love it!  It always seems that when fall arrives, the smells and the feelings are just different.  While watching the national weather, snow and freezing temps are already in the north, so maybe we wont have any more of that 90 degree stuff!

Long range forecast for Chattanooga, Tennessee from the Old Farmer's Almanac ---------(they know I love it, so they will tell me anything...lol)

Winter will be much colder and drier than normal, with the coldest periods in mid- to late December, early January, and early February. Snowfall will be near to above normal, with the snowiest periods in the north in mid- to late December, early January, and mid-March, and the best chance for snow in the south in mid-February.

So, if you are a sunshine loving person, you had better call my friend who lives in the Sunshine State and make reservations for the cold, snowy winter.

Let's see, Aryn's softball team played in a tournament in Cookeville, Tennessee, and got second place.

Grayce's soccer team played and came in second also.  She scored the only goal!

Church was good as always.  Our Pastor's grandmother died, so his entire family went to West Virginia for her funeral.  Our Youth Director brought the message yesterday morning and evening and it was very informative.  I ALWAYS learn something new when I go to church.  It is never to late to learn and I am 70.

  2. Good evening, Linda! Congrats to Aryn and Grayce on their 2nd place finishes! There is not too many states that get colder than Michigan in the winter! I will never move full time away from Michigan. I love this state way too much! But I can tell you that we will visit Florida a whole lot more in the winter once we retire:-) How is your back tonight?
