The 292nd day of 2012
64 days until winter
begins
I am so thankful that 57 years ago, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I am so thankful for my family and for my church family. They never cease to amaze me. They help me in so many ways!
Our Missions Conference came to a close last night and the blessings still resound.
One of the students at the high school where my granddaughter goes, created a pretty neat thing, don't you think?
My granddaughter and grandson next door decorated their front yard for Halloween!
DID YOU KNOW???
The ancient Romans bobbed for apples to honor the
goddess Pomona.
NATURAL ROOM SCENTS
Oranges, cinnamon & cloves (allspice and anise are optional). This is my
favorite, both for it's wonderful aroma and for it's staying power. This scent
carries into multiple rooms better, and it can be reheated to scent your rooms
for several days.

Cinnamon and citrus always smell so good, and ARE the scents of Fall. Ummmmmm.
ReplyDeleteLove the spooky yard next door!! The kids did a good job!
So many blessings to be thankful for! Amen.
I am so thankful too. I came to the Lord Aug. 10, 1980 and He continues to bless me. I have so much in this life to be thankful for. I would have a hard time listing them all.
ReplyDeleteThat contraption the high school boy made is amazing.
I love the picture of the little boy.. "no Grandma". Cute.
You have a great day.
You are indeed blessed abundantly! One of the things I share with my Dad is that we both accepted Christ as our Savior the same year and week . :)
ReplyDeleteNice to visit with you this afternoon. What a blessing to live close to your grands. It looks like they had fun decorating for fall. I am always looking for ways to make the house smell good. THX for the tip.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful to have accepted Christ as my Savior 46 years ago.
What an awesome job your granddaughter and grandson did on their Halloween decorations! Do you get many trick-or-treaters on Halloween?
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool what your daughter's friend built! Was it for a school project?
I have a Yankee Candle that has Oranges, cinnamon & cloves..it is one of my favorites!! I just might have to burn it today:-)
How fun for them to decorate for Halloween. My daughter loves to decorate as well. We have those same tombstones in our yard. :) What a neat project your granddaughter's friend made. Quite creative she is.
