BLOG ADDICT!

Yes, I do blog every day, but never feel like what I have to say is worth anything to anybody but me!  I think more than anything else, I enjoy changing my backgrounds and being creative.  I have changed furniture in my home, changed curtains, rugs, etc. until I really can't change much any more, so changing my blog background lets me do it at no expense to me!

ONION UPDATE:  Day 3 and still NO sniffles!

Aryn's basketball team won last night and she scored 25 points.  The final score should have been higher than it was, as it seemed that the team went full speed ahead for the first two quarters, and then fell flat in the final half.  We were actually surprised that they won, if that tells you about the game...

Grocery shopping today and if you know me at all, you know I dread it, and put it off as long as I can.  But when you are down to no milk, no eggs, and no bread, you have to give in and go....ughhhh.

Church tonight.  A precious couple in our church had an automobile accident late Sunday afternoon and both are in ICU.  He has a broken back, pelvic and hip bones, and she has cracked pelvic bones.  He was to undergo surgery yesterday, but the doctors feel hers will heal in time without surgery, but both are in extreme pain.  She is the president of my Sunday School class.  He recently underwent surgery for cancer of his bladder, and intestines and had just gotten back to church, was recovering nicely and then this.  The old question always arises - why do bad things happen to good people.  We don't know, cant know, but God does, and we just have to cling to Him, and pray.

Well, need to get busy, pay bills, finish cup of coffee and hit the road.  Hope you have a very nice day!

When you least expect it, the Lord Jesus Christ is going to come – as a thief in the night. First Thessalonians 5:1 & 2 says, "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night."

We need to be ready!

  1. Good morning! Can it already be November 28th? Sometimes I think it is feast or famine with my blogging. I slowed down on it about a year ago because I am gone more through the day probably. I'm not sure anyways these days are so full of life and blessed and stressed ..but I suppose all those things make good blogging material..well enough of me rambling! :) Have a great day and a great service at church tonight.

  2. That poor couple... my gosh. My prayers for them both for a speedy recovery. We don't understand why but one day we will. Your new background is amazing. I love it. I was just thinking of finding a new one for mine. Your blogs are always interesting. I love coming online to see what my friends are doing and perhaps say something encouraging to them or find things we have in common. You have a great day, even tho' you have to shop for groceries. I don't like it either. Take care.

    1. I think it helps us know each other better on a day to day basis, since most of us will never meet face to face, dont you?

  3. Oh, I enjoy your posts Linda when I have time to make it around Blogger to read them. I have way too many blogs and really need to get rid of some, but with friends I like keeping up with on all of them it is hard for me to do.

I have never found any of your posts that I have read to be boring. Now if I blogged every day mine would be boring for sure. I don't even think I would have anything to blog about every day.

Changing my pages I love to do also and I like to change things around in my home. Never have the finances to redecorate so I just move things around each season to give the place a different look. Hugs

  5. I'm so sorry to hear about your friends and their recent troubles. We do wonder "why", but it's not for us to question, I guess. Someday we will all understand. I do think that sometimes we are just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and other people involved are where they are supposed to be... We do have free choice in most things. I do believe in 'fate' though, and we just have to trust and have faith. Prayers offered.

I love the backgrounds you find. I change mine once or twice a week, when I have more time to play. Sometimes I find one I really like, and leave it up longer.

I don't like grocery shopping either, but when Joe goes with me, it is more fun. He does a good bit of the shopping during the day, when we just need a few things, now that he isn't working outside the home. That makes it nice for me to not have to stop for things on my way home from work.

Aryn continues to be the top scorer on her team. They are lucky to have her! Glad they won, even with the bad second half.

    Wishing you a good day!
