God Is Still Good-----

As I look back on all of my days

so many times and so many ways

I have been blessed and all I can say

is God is still good.

Sometimes the night brings sorrow and pain

sometimes the tears flow like the rain

but through it all He's never changed

I know I have posted the words to this song before, but they are even more appropriate this morning.  My dear friend that I mentioned yesterday, did go home to Heaven at 2:45 am this morning.  She was in extreme pain, had a long battle with cancer, so now she is at rest in Heaven with her husband and parents and many more family members.  GOD IS STILL GOOD!

We had a wonderful, warm, blessed service last night at church.  The Pastor didn't have a message, but the congregation gave testimonies of blessings and many tears were shed.  Even though we are a growing church, we have a very close church family.  We have a family that fosters children, and the 4 month old baby girl they have now has already had 6 surgeries for problems and God touched this precious child and she is bright, alert and doing fine.....much to be thankful for.  We have several new members that have turned their lives completely around and are serving the Lord full time; we have a bus ministry that has grown from one van to 3 school buses and another van.  We had been picking up some children on one bus and their Dad came to see just what we were teaching his children, and all have become full time members.  I could go on and on and on, but needless to say, GOD IS STILL GOOD.  We also celebrated the Lord's Supper which is a very special time for Christians.

Today, we get to go to see Aryn play basketball again.  Her team played last night and won, and she scored 23 points!!!  So far in senior high school, she has scored 311 points.  That includes last year as a middle schooler, playing on the high school team, and this year so far.  She is on her way up!  lol


Day #21 Today I am thankful for my many friends that I have made contact with on the computer via yahoo 360, Multiply and now Blogger.  My prayer partners here mean so much to me.  God bless each and everyone, and in advance, Happy Thanksgiving!
