HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

Psalm 32:11
"Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart."

Don't allow the cares of the day to rob you of blessings the Lord has for you.  When the cares come up, just do as we are instructed to do: "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."

Good Wednesday morning, and it is good.  I had a good night's rest, Jim is still 'snoozing' and that gives me time to plan my day.  Lazy day and then church tonight for me...what is it for you?

Jim fell again yesterday evening in the utility room.  Our back door is in that room, and he was coming out to get into the car for our afternoon 'ride'.  I was already in the car, but heard a 'thud', so got out and tried to open the door, but he was against it.  Ran around to the front and sure enough, found him on the floor.  He had tried to step down one step and missed it and fell against the fridge we have out there.  I ran next door, got my son (thankfully he had come in from work early) and he came and got him up and out to the car.  We went on and took our ride and then came in, he ate a bowl of ice cream, took his shower, and went to bed.  I followed, after NCIS-LA went off!  We lead exciting lives don't we?

Speaking of tv....NCIS-LA was new last night and really really good.  I have probably watched every re-run of that show, as well as Criminal Minds.  Those are my two most watched.  I am not a reality show watcher and the cooking shows don't thrill me either.  So, re-runs it is.

Did I post these pictures before?  My 5 year old grandson beginning his sporting career, playing tee ball, and his Dad coaching him in hitting.......

This is going to be a fun summer!

Aryn (15) is on her high school track team, and she won two events out of 3 last night, and said she was really tired now!  (Wonder why, since she plays basketball and now runs track????  Duh)  Grayce (11) is on the travel AAU soccer team and now, Caroline(7) will be entered in a Walk-A-Thon at her elementary school.  I am tired just typing all their activities...lol

I pray my friends in the frozen north stay safe and warm, and hope this is the last blast of snow and cold, and we can all enjoy sunshine, warmth and spring.

I also like your background today...very cheerful! It's not at all spring like here, but I think I should pretend.

  8. Trying this again... I couldn't post a comment before.
Your little grandson is so cute. It will be fun to watch him and the girls in their sports this summer but it will sure keep you busy.
We are still cold here in Ohio. We have some large snowflakes flying past the windows right now.
I'm also a fan of those TV shows. Several of those reality shows are stupid. I don't watch them either.
It's good that Jim wasn't hurt and your son was close by to help. Still saying prayers for him and you. The Hoveround is a good idea. They are so nice.
Hope you both have a good day.
