Of course for me, it is church day. As our Pastor is on a mission trip, our Youth Director will bring the message this morning. He is such a good guy and I love him dearly, so look forward to hearing what God has given him for us today.
What are your thoughts on this North Korean leader and his plans for the USA? Surely the man is smart enough to know we could blow his country off the map if he were to shoot missiles at us; surely he knows it isn't a smart move. My concern, however, is China, who is on their side and our biggest and most dangerous enemy. Is it World War III or the last battle in the near future? Signs of the time?
A dear friend at church gave me a web site where I could study the Bible with teachers who are very schooled in the subject. I am now studying Revelation as it seems timely to me. This is the link: www.bbnradio.org/wcm4/bbnbienglish. You can choose which book to study, etc. there.
You can sign up on the site, it is totally free, and easy for me to have my Bible open, listen to the teacher and make notes when needed. You can check out who it is, what it is, etc.
Jim and I both didn't feel well yesterday, so we basically slept the day away. Finally around 4, we went and got the car washed and filled with gas, rode through downtown and it was crawling alive. People were out enjoying the warmth and sunshine. Today the plans for the day are basically the same!
What this planet needs is more mistletoe and less missile-talk. ~Author Unknown
I agree about the North Korea issue. What is the leader thinking? I hope you enjoy some good weather today and feel better!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I know your youth Pastor brought a good message, and you enjoyed worship today. I also don't understand what North Korea thinks they are doing. I certainly hope China will use some common sense about it all. You are right, though...it could be the start of the end. Sigh. Glad you and Jim rallied yesterday and got out and about a bit. Have a good Sunday afternoon/evening!
ReplyDeleteN. Korea's messages to the US does not sound good. It worries me. I heard the other day that Obummer had a plan to protect us. All along the west and east borders he's had "no missile zone" signs put up. LOL (just joking)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a good day.
I agree with the mistletoe message you left at the end of your blog. As for the dictator of North Korea, he has to be just a little unbalanced. As most in dictatorships like his are. Look at some of the past dictators.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the Sunday. It's a lovely day here, suns out, but I know with everything starting to bud and bloom, the allergies are going to go crazy.
Hope you have enjoyed your Sunday. I'm struggling with allergies this Spring.
ReplyDeleteI love the condiments in the muffin tin idea.
Hope you feel well and have a nice week.
