RAIN, RAIN AND MORE RAIN!
I woke up when I heard a very loud boom! Extreme wind, hail, thunder and lightning - good morning Sunday! I didn't know whether I should get up and check it out, or pull the covers over my head. Cali, my cat must have wanted the covers over her head too, because she came running and meowing. It didn't last long, but I was awake, so got up and looked out to see if any damage was done. None, that I could see.
I am planning to go to church, but if the heavy rain and storms continue, I may not try it. I am having major back and leg pain, and can't move very fast, and would hate to get soaked before I even got to the door of the church. Umbrellas wont help in this type storm.
Gonna give you a break this morning and not ramble on and on.
God bless you my friend.
How do you get relief from your leg and back pain? I have been having the same and thinking of going to a chiroprater. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteRuth, I have to get an epidural to relieve mine. I have had 7 now; in between I alternate with ex-strength tylenol, ibuprofen and aleve. Sure hope you can get some help soon. sciatica problems are very painful.
DeleteI hate those kinds of storms. I can understand your reluctance to go out in it. We didn't go to church this morning. Not because of the storm we had earlier but because neither one of us feel very good. I pray your back and leg pain will lessen today so you can enjoy your day more. Take care. ♥
ReplyDeleteAm hoping you both feel better soon. All this rain, dreary weather doesnt help either. I took Aleve this morning and made it to church in between the heavy showers.
ReplyDeleteYIKES! That's one way to wake up! I wouldn't blame you if you decided to stay home. Praying your pain eases.
ReplyDeleteI heard the thunder, too, and thought, "Yup, the rain started - - - just like predicted." Then I rolled back over and went to sleep.
ReplyDeleteWe missed church this morning - - one of the first times in many, many weeks/years. I caught a 24 hour something that didn't end until about 1 this afternoon. It was sore throat, chills, and extreme lethargy. The good news about that is when you feel better, you realize how good you really feel.
Glad you had no damage at your place.
That's a scary way to wake up, and Cali thought so too! Just be careful with your back and leg. Your appointment is coming up soon, now (not soon enough, I know). Your friendship is so appreciated, Linda! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWe had a rainy couple of days too but the sun is shining now!!
