Thankful Tuesday

Another beautiful morning in Tennessee.  I wish the weather could stay this way all year long - it would be perfect, but those humid, extremely hot days of summer are just on the horizon, so I better enjoy today while I can.  I am the odd ball, I don't like summer weather.

1)  I am thankful to be able to attend my Sunday School class meeting today at noon.  We always have such a good time, have a good devotional and good things to eat.
2)  I am thankful to have some new friends to communicate with on Blogger.  People are so interesting and talented and I enjoy seeing what makes them happy.
3)  I am thankful that I called my ortho doc's office yesterday and got an appointment for May 6th, for another epidural.  I pray that will carry me through the summertime with less back and leg pain.
4)  I am thankful that between Jim and my son Murphy, they got our yard in good shape yesterday....it had really needed the work, and I am thankful Jim could even help.
5)  I am very thankful for prayer and the peace it gives.  We have two gentlemen in our church that have cancer all over their bodies, and may be in the last days of their life, yet we can pray for them, knowing God hears and will answer according to His will.
6)  I am thankful to be able to stop at 6 this morning.

I knew you wanted to know this----------

Why are toilet handles on the left-hand side?
Most early flush toilets were flushed by pulling a chain above the tank. The chain was usually to the left of the tank, to allow the user to pull with his or her right hand while seated. When the handles came into fashion in the 1940s or so, they were fitted into the existing plumbing mechanisms of the pull-chain toilets on the left side.

An unpeeled orange floats, while an peeled orange sinks...Object lesson about "standing in holy places" and having our "armor" on will help keep us from sinking.

My hubby did the same. Took advantage of the nice weather while we have it. ** Saying a prayer for you. I hope this epidural will give you several months of pain relief. ** You take care. ♥
