POST SURGERY

I need to put my feet up!  and breathe!!!

Took Jim to surgery center this morning for another injection in his back.  They had a hard time waking him after the procedure, and I found out probably why, AFTER we got in the car to come home.  He informed me that he had taken one of his pain pills right before we left this morning!  I am surprised he woke up at all to be honest, as he takes Dilaudid for pain.  If you know anything about medicines or pain meds, you know this is an extremely strong one. He was supposed to be NPO (without food or fluids). I guess I am going to have to monitor him even more closely than I have been.  Whew!  I am thankful he is alive.

LOL

  5. Hi Linda! I tried to call you earlier, but realized it is church night and hung up without leaving a message. I'm so sorry we weren't able to connect while in Chattanooga today, but I understand. Glad Jim DID wake up and hope the injection will help him with the pain. Know that I have been thinking about you all day, today. We will connect next time! Love & hugs. Terri
