TOUR OF CHATTANOOGA, TN.

Summer is here!  87 degrees yesterday and about the same today.  Nothing new and exciting is happening to me, so decided to give you a picture tour of where I live - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA!

When you think of Chattanooga or hear about it, do you immediately think 'Rock City' or 'Ruby Falls' or the 'Incline Railway'?  They are all here, but there is so much more.  Bet you didn't know that Moon Pies, and Little Debbies are made here, or Coca Cola began here did you?  We have a riverfront that is the center of fun now days.  We have zip lining, 'see 7 States from Lookout Mtn.', Chickamauga Battlefield, that is 5,200 acres where many men lost their lives in Civil War.  We have a bridge that crosses the Tennessee River that  you can walk across.  We have the Hunter Museum of Art, the Chattanooga Choo Choo complex, a drive in theater, and a floating hotel - The Delta Queen, and so much more.

Come visit!  You wont be disappointed.

In America there are two classes of travel -

first class, and with children.

  4. I love your background today. So spring-like. ** We got summer weather too. It's been in the 80's the last couple days but I'm hoping we don't have to turn on the a/c already. ** The photo tour you gave us today is fantastic. So many things I didn't know about Chattanooga, like being able to see 7 states. And the bridge. I'd like to ride the Incline Railway... maybe. The cityscape is beautiful. We have a drive-in theater too. They're almost a thing of the past. I've driven around your city but now I'd like to "come in and look around". ♥

  5. Chattanooga sounds like an AMAZING city! I stayed over night there once when we were driving to Florida. I wish we would have spent some time exploring your great city. I love the photos you posted, they really show how beautiful and fun Chattanooga is! Have you ever met Tony and Laura who were also on Yahoo 360 and Multiply? They are from Chattanooga and speak so fondly of the area too. I love your background! Michigan is finally in spring/summer mode. We have been in the low 80's two days in a row..whoo hoo!
