MONDAY, MONDAY!

Be sure and watch the feet of the one in the dress.  She just cant stay still!  lol
I should remember her name since that was my 'era', but right now, I don't!
Was it Mama Cass???

It is another Monday and here it is pouring rain and has all night.  I woke up a couple of times and it lulled me back to sleep by beating on our tin roof!  What are your plans for this Monday?

I went to church yesterday morning so tired and a little depressed, came home and rested all afternoon and of course went back last night and got a boost.  We had a visiting family and they sang for us.  How odd that the two men in the group attended elementary school at the church I attend now, with all three of my children.  There was a school here that went from K-4 until the 12th grade.  The older of the two boys is now a pastor and has a beautiful voice.  It just made me smile to see and hear them.

Jim has a Dr. appointment this week and we are hoping for some answers and solutions.  He hasn't fallen for 3 days now and I am being extra careful to be with him and keep the rooms clear of clutter, etc.  He had intended to go to church yesterday, but was just too weak, so he slept most of the day away on the living room sofa.

My granddaughter Aryn just recently had some professional photos done and of course, being the doting grandmother I am, I have to share some with my blog buddies, so bare with me........

This was meant for me........today and every day.

Regardless of where you are today, God is with you. God is wooing you. God wants you to experience Him. Whatever you are going through today, you can find His joy and peace. However distant your dreams may seem, God is working things out, and today is an important part of that process.

  5. That sure brings back those memories of when I was younger and care-free. Mama Cass! Haven't heard them in more years than I care to admit. hahaha
Glad you had a good Sunday and the church service was uplifting.
I'll be praying Jim's doctor will be able to help.

  6. I think the other girl is Michelle Phillips - she is McKenzie Phillips from One Day At A Time who both have trouble with drugs or had. And that is Mama Cass.

You must be so proud of the basketballs granddaughter.

I hope Jim's doctor will figure something out.

    Love, sandie

I remember waking up a couple of times and thinking it was still raining but didn't let it keep me awake. I hope the weather isn't really bad here this evening like they said it might be.
