Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)
Good Sunday morning. Hope you are going to have a nearly perfect day!
My daughter and family are headed north after their vacation in Florida. The two girls start school in the morning. I have been "hired" to pick them up every afternoon, as my daughter will begin a new position within Blue Cross and has to train for a few weeks. Once trained, she will go back home to work just like before. I also get to pick up the cat from the vet in the morning at 10, where she has been boarded. Will have to get my mojo working early!!!
My little 4 year old grandson is a hoot! This kid has an imagination that just wont quit..........thank goodness. He loves guns, costumes, peel off tatoos (ugh), masks, and more. He gets into character whatever he is playing with for that moment. We never know when he comes over, just what Jesse will be.
Yesterday was no exception......I opened the door and died laughing!
He informed me that he was a mean bull! Then proceeded to tell me what the horns were good for, made out of, etc. As he tells you a story, it gets bigger and bigger!
We are having my kind of weather.....cooler, less to no humidity and even though fall is sometime off, it felt like it yesterday. I could stand this year round.
I will end with a laugh.......................
Be careful with music

I was in Starbuck’s recently when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to "toot". The music was really loud so I timed my "toot" with the beat of the music. After a couple of songs I started to feel better. I finished my coffee and noticed that everyone was staring at me… And suddenly I remembered I was listening to my iPod. That's what happens when old people start using technology!
That was a very funny way to end your blog! Joe even laughed when I read it to him. Jesse is destined to be a star! We will see him on the big screen some day if he continues along this track! Wishing you a wonderful Sunday! I would love some of that cooler, less humid weather down here, but we have a few months to wait, I'm afraid. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Good joke! Your grandson reminds me of my son Matthew. Matt was always pretending when he was 4 years old. People still tell stories of Matt when he would pretend he was Santa Claus (In July) and he went through a stage when he pretended he was Jesus! I love when a child has a powerful imagination! I love the pictures you posted of him being a bull! Too sweet!
ReplyDeleteBoys will be boys! lol Jesse is so cute and has a very active mind of his own. Looks like the grandma mobile will be getting back into high gear again very soon. The weather has turned much cooler here too. Blankets are needed at bedtime. Where has my summer gone??? lol Theresa
