HAVE A GREAT TUESDAY!

You can see my schedule for the day.  I know some of you still iron clothes, sheets, etc., but not this old lady.  I do have an iron and ironing board, but not real sure where they are.  It is fluff in the dryer for me....if it cant be fluffed, I dont buy it!

Good morning, and it is.  I woke up, got up, and can see and hear and am thanking God for another day.  Looks like we may have some more rain, but it is supposed to end this afternoon.  Middle of the hot, dry month is now wet and so green.  Weird!

Does anyone ever get these little catalogs.....some with clothes, some with household items?  Somehow they got my name  and I get them now and then.  I got one last week called "Country Store".  It has some really neat gadgets and I found one that I am definitely going to order for my daughter Jennifer.  She grows her own herbs and they use them in cooking.

Herb Scissors
Cut/chop/mince herbs quickly and easily. Scissors have 3" stainless-steel blades and large plastic handles with silicone linings. Safety cover doubles as a blade cleaner. Dishwasher safe. 8"L.

If, as most climate experts expect, we have an El Niño, winter it might be a bit weird.

El Niños normally make the northern states and Canada warmer and the southern states and Mexico wetter. Confusing, isn’t it!
Basically, an El Niño (Spanish for “Little Boy) occurs when the Tropical Pacific is unusually warm, more than 0.5˚C or 0.9˚F hotter than average. It heats the air above it, which allows the atmosphere to hold more moisture.

El Niño isn’t the only pattern that shapes winter. If an Arctic Oscillation is in a negative mood, it will be cold. The Arctic Oscillation is the king of winter, and a “little boy” cannot fight a king.  So, if you love shoveling snow off your sidewalks, this winter may disappoint you. If you like cool but not frigid weather, El Niño may be your best friend.

We’re prone to pray for a few minutes and then preach for ten days!  Change your definition of prayer. Think of it less as an activity for God and more as an awareness of God.
Acknowledge His presence everywhere you go!

  1. Good morning Linda and happy Tuesday to you! I am one that still irons, my ironing board is never put away unless company comes over..LOL. I don't grow herbs but I think the herb scissors are pretty cool! I love getting those types of catalogs in the mail. With the holidays coming up we should start to see more:-)

  2. I literally said good=bye to Multiply this morning. I left my blogger address and all we can do is hope our friends follow.
Question? why does the "Dashboard" show up on your main page and it doesnt on mine. Is it worth pursuing?

  3. Hi Linda! I'm hanging in over at Multiply, mainly to see if those folks who are trying to get the rights to the blogging codes are successful. If we get to keep Multiply, I will stay over there, I think. Blogger still doesn't give me the flexibility Multiply does. I like the in-box and not having to change pages to see everyone. I've lost my "dashboard" too. Not sure where to find it. Maybe it went away when I linked Blogger to Google+ (??). Anyway, it is fun learning new things, so this is my blogging home for now. I don't hold out much hope for Multiply to branch off on it's own. Love the herb scissors, and Joe thinks I am on every catalog mailing list in the country. I do get Country Store now and then. They do have fun stuff! Have a good day!
