So, moving on................I think all of us are happy to see the week end, and the "weekend" get here! Have a good one.
Have to brag on my granddaughter, Grayce. The first week of cross country she came in 20th; the next she came in 9th, and yesterday she moved up to 4th! Am so proud of her effort. As Jim said, she cant lose....she is getting fresh air, sunshine and exercise. She has one more week and we are hoping she continues to improve.
This week has been homecoming for many of the high schools and colleges around town, and we see lots of signs of that. My son is catering at one of the games, cooking BBQ. The weather is perfect football weather - dry, cool, sunshine. Below is his smoker/cooker.

I'm just imagining how good your son's bbq smells as it is smoking! MMmmmmmmm!!!! There probably aren't any leftovers to enjoy, for you, either.
ReplyDeleteGrayce is doing so well!! She is moving up so fast. Keep us posted, so we can cheer her on.
Wishing you a good weekend!! Hugs & love.
Great how your grandchildren are achieving great things. It's all important in the lessons of life and you are a wonderful grandma cheering them on and being proud.
ReplyDeleteBBQ does sound wonderful YUM!
I'm glad success has little to do with money lol sometimes we have our money pinches , budget not always fun but are rich in the best things, things that are not really things ..the love of God and family and friends and enjoying the simple beauty of ordinary treasures
Amen Cheryl.....I feel the same way. Have a nice day...it is beautiful outside, and I bet you will hit the trail for your walk soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to find a way to make using blogger easier for you. I have used Chrome and Firefox. I haven't use IE in years and don't miss it one bit. lol Congratulations to Grayce on her races. I hope she does well at her last one.
ReplyDeleteSo many of my friends now tell me that they use Chrome or Firefox, and I know why! It is working great. Grayce is 10 years old, in the 5th grade, and her older sister is extremely talented in basketball, softball, and volleyball, so we are really happy for Grayce. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you are enjoying Chrome! My kids are the one who told me about it:-) Way to go Grayce!! You must be so proud of her! Matthew's homecoming is next weekend. We will be home for the game but we will be on our way to Florida for his dance:-( He just left with a group of his friends to go to his high school football game that is away this week. They love going to the rival's field to show support for their school:) I am hoping that they get the game in before it starts raining! Have a great weekend, Linda!
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is good too Kris. When do you leave for Fla.? Are you going to get to see Terri and Joe this trip?
