We had a big event in Chattanooga yesterday.
Head of the Hooch rowing competition with
people from all over the country.  It was held on the
Tennessee River in downtown.

Hundreds of row boats and trailers lined Riverfront Parkway for the 8th annual rowing Regatta Friday. More than 9600 competitors from twenty seven different states competed.

Day #4 I am thankful for quiet days and nights, where I can do what I want to do without having to stop to entertain, clean, shop, or anything busy.  Sit in recliner with my feet up, a blanket over me, and read a book or watch a tv show, ahhh so nice!

I admit though that the days of "Mommmm", can you help me, or "Mommmm" will you show me or take me here or there or "supper" will be ready shortly, are missed now and then.

The afternoon and night yesterday was quiet.  We did ride through the battlefield, checking on our deer friends.  Then home to settle in for the evening.

I am going to church this morning.  I miss it so much and can park very close to the door, so very little walking...that is if I get there early enough!

I am wishing you a nice Sunday.

A best friend is like a four-leaf clover:
hard to find and lucky to have.

(do you have a best friend?)

  1. That rowing competition would have fun to see. I love watching their precision strokes.
Sometimes I miss those days of "Mommmm" too. When our daughters were teenagers, our house filled with laughter and hijinks. I miss those days. Hope you're having a great day.
